check out this gorgeous video of “buried at sea” from director nadia stuyk. with the help of color treatments and overlapping imagery, stuyk’s footage — taken off the coast of granada, spain — transforms rock formations and underwater scenery into an ethereal vacation advertisement.
“buried at Sea” is originally pulled from echo lake’s young silence ep, but the first minute and a half sounds like a lost demo session from slowdive’s just for a day. echo lake’s debut album drops sometime in february through the great no pain in pop label.
